Well, here we are back in Fort Wilderness. This time for an extended stay of nine days (and nights). Will we tire of Disney or will we just want to keep coming back for more?
Pamela: I would probably do parks less (eg. I could do fireworks, or do 'drop till I die' .. this is a term we use for the Disney MGM Tower of Terror ride .. which Pam did for the first, second, and third time (all in one day) on this visit).
Heather Lynn: Even if I tired of the theme parks there is always something else to do.
Reba: Downtown Disney (shopping), I'm never going to tire. (Editors note: Downtown Disney includes an AMC 24 theatre complex.)
Daniel: Yes, I would get tired of it. (Editors note: I think he is already there).
James: I would get tired of it, too. (Editors note: also, 'already there'.)
Daniel and James have become big fans of a program ( on the computer) called "Baldur's Gate" (foolish dad who decided to buy it for them). Having said this, they are doing MUCH better at school work and music since the purchase of the game .. bribery works very well (oh, sorry, for you professional educators out there, I mean, incentives).
Well, it must be time to do some more theme parks. David's personal favourite is Epcot. We love the America's Pavilion with the Voices of Liberty singers (a bit hit with David, Pam, Heather Lynn, and Reba). We also loved the Chinese (Pu Yung) acrobats at the China pavilion:
We were able to catch the singers and the acrobats on the movie projector we borrowed from Pam's parents.
Another big attraction is Splash Mountain. Pam, Heather Lynn, and even James thought it was pretty cool (this ride particularly so since Pam got absolutely soaked .. just after this shot):
It's been a really fun week at Fort Wilderness. We decided to drop down to Crockett's Buffeteria for lunch one day (all you can eat soup, pizza, chicken, sandwiches, salad, cobbler, etc.) This is us relaxing after a very nice meal:
Well pardners, it must be time to mosey on out of here and head out west. But first, we will experience a bit of the Florida Panhandle, New Orleans, and then on to San Antonio, Texas!
